I interviewed Joel-Peter Witkin for Art Relish at UGA last week. He was giving a lecture as part of the Lamar Dodd School of Art's (where I did my undergrad) Visiting Artist and Scholar Lectures. It's an understatement to say Witkin is an interesting guy. He was in a hurry to prepare for his lecture, but did give me a couple of minutes of his time. I scrambled to pick three of the page full of questions I'd written in advance, and wish I'd had more time.
